Office Policies

Respect Policy

Respect of self and others is a core value at Polar Pediatrics. We want to model respect for self and others to the children we treat. Disrespecting staff or referral sources will not be tolerated. The same is true for parents and children respecting each other at Polar Pediatrics. If you should ever feel disrespected at Polar Pediatrics, please let Dr. Child know.

No Show and Late Policy

Your appointment time is being kept especially for you. Missing appointments or being late may result in your being asked to seek care elsewhere. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Payment Policy

Payment is expected at time of service. Delinquency greater than 30 days may result in your being asked to seek care elsewhere. If payment concerns occur, contact our office to arrange a payment plan.

Electronic Records/Labs

Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) are established for all current and new patients. Lab results are downloaded into the EMRs, so your chart will be completely electronic. This allows Dr. Child to scan for specific information during your visit and do a quick comparison of trends in your treatment for on-going conditions.

Email Policy

Email is not a secure medium. If you choose to send Polar Pediatrics confidential information over email, you are doing so at your own risk.
